Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TradeReflect ("the Service") at tradereflect.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Shannon Donaldson, operating as TradeReflect, a sole proprietorship based in Texas.
2. Description of Service
TradeReflect is a web-based trade journaling and AI coaching platform for day traders. The Service allows users to import trade history, receive AI-generated feedback on trade execution, maintain a trade journal, and receive performance analytics. TradeReflect is an educational and journaling tool only. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals of any kind.
3. Not Financial Advice
THE SERVICE IS FOR EDUCATIONAL AND JOURNALING PURPOSES ONLY. Nothing on TradeReflect constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. AI coaching feedback is generated algorithmically based on general trading principles and does not account for your individual financial situation, risk tolerance, or investment objectives. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. TradeReflect is not liable for any financial losses you incur as a result of your trading activity.
4. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@tradereflect.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all Pro features. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of your trial period, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan. To maintain Pro access after your trial, you must purchase a subscription. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.
6. Subscription and Billing
Pro plan subscriptions are billed at $30.00 USD per month. By subscribing, you authorize TradeReflect to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Billing occurs on the same date each month as your initial subscription date. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Pro access until that date.
7. Refund Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. TradeReflect does not offer refunds on subscription payments. Because we offer a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, you have the opportunity to fully evaluate the Service before any charge is made. Once a billing period has been charged, that charge is non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you will not be refunded for any unused portion of your current billing period, but you will not be charged again. In cases of duplicate charges or billing errors, please contact us at hello@tradereflect.ai and we will resolve the issue promptly.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the security of the Service; (c) share your account credentials with others; (d) use the Service to transmit spam or malicious content; (e) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; (f) scrape or extract data from the Service in bulk without written permission; or (g) use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at tradereflect.ai/privacy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your trade data. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
10. Third-Party Services
TradeReflect integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), Anthropic (AI coaching), Polygon.io (market data), and Resend (email). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. TradeReflect is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party data, including market data provided by Polygon.io.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, content, branding, and AI coaching methodology, is owned by Shannon Donaldson operating as TradeReflect and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without express written permission. Your trade data and journal entries remain your property.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TRADEREFLECT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT MARKET DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. AI COACHING FEEDBACK IS GENERATED ALGORITHMICALLY AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS OR INACCURACIES. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADEREFLECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
